 The minute I went to the cinema and saw so many people getting tickets, I knew. They're going to see Mission Impossible, leaving me with all the good seats for Southpaw, HAH!!

Every time I see a movie with Jake Gyllenhaal, I'm thinking: is there anything this guy can't play?! Will there ever be a bad movie he'll choose to star in? No? Ok.

Let me tell you about Southpaw. It kept me on the edge of my seat almost the entire time. From the boxing matches, to the kick-ass soundtrack, to the stellar performances, this movie is worth it from start to finish. All I could think of was how the hell did they choreograph all that?! How did they remember each punch they had to take and each they had to dodge? Trust me, they didn't hold back with the boxing, no. You'd think: oh I'm gonna get a few matches, maybe 2, 3 that will be done in an instant and then I'll just get the story of the main character. Right? Wrong. You'll get what you want and then some. Gyllenhaal will take punch after punch after punch and it's done so well that you literally think he's actually getting hit.


This is the best movie I've seen this year so far, hands down. No 3D, no bullshit, just raw acting with a great story to back it up.

As we grow more and more impatient while we wait for December to come, we have just gotten some new stills from the upcoming movie. HOW EXCITED ARE YOU?

      I believe everyone talking about this movie had the same question about it: is it worth viewing or not?

Well after seeing it today, I can safely say... Go watch it. I mean it. Like, now.

Somehow, from the trailer, I already had the feeling I'd be pleasantly surprised. I saw that they managed to pull off certain scenes that normally would just look ridiculous (here, I'm mainly talking about the Thing's visuals and Reed's stretching ability, which always made me wonder by the way, is his certain... member still the same size or nah).

I'm in love with the casting. Madly. Ever since Whiplash, I started seeing Miles Teller in a whole new light and Kate Mara has not disappointed either. Jamie Bell gave me all the feels for Ben Grimm, and I mean ALL. THE. FEELS and my only wish was that Michael B. Jordan, who played the hottie, had more screen time. But I'm hoping that'll happen in the sequel.

Wait.

I'm forgetting about the one character I've been looking forward to seeing in this movie.

Look at him and weep. He's perfect. What is it with me always liking the baddies? Oh, well.

I especially liked one thing that he said, but obviously my not so fantastic memory doesn't remember it quite the same. Something about him knowing us peasants should never get our hands on his power. Smart man.

While on IMDB the movie rating's quite low, I couldn't care less. I liked what they presented. It's quite close to reality (as close as such a film can get) meaning the problems in the movie happen nowadays, the whole if you're different than us, we own you and we can experiment on you thingie, the government making EVERYTHING they can get their hands on warfare material and so on.

Honestly, I think it's worth watching. I also think that if you're pessimistic about it, you'll find flaws in it and dislike it. My only advice would be to just see it and make an opinion afterwards. I'd love to hear it ;)

  So I went to see The Avengers today. No big deal, you know? It's just a mooovie..


IT WAS FREAKIN' AMAZING AND IT WAS 3D! The first 3D movie I've ever seen. And it was The Avengers!!
First of all, the cinema we have here is not usually crowded. In fact, when I went to see The Hunger Games we were.. roughly, 8 people so I was like wtf, how's this place still standing?
And today I understood how. We were all basically stumbling on each other's feet while we were trying to get inside in time!! We took our fancy 3D glasses (which by the way were NOT made from white paper as my magazine ones were) and got in our seats and all went crazy when we saw Loki and The Avengers.. It was perfection. Pure epicness. Your ovaries will explode from seeing The Avengers avenging Earth.

  First of all, Mark Ruffalo is THE Hulk. They couldn't have picked a better actor, he portrays him so well, all that rage building up and his calm-self... The movie did justice for Hulk, big time. He blends in perfectly with the story, without him I can safely say it wouldn't have been as good as it is.
  And I love Mark Ruffalo. Like crazy love, ever since I saw him in Zodiac. So yeah, watch that movie too, in case you haven't already.
  I'm quite fond of his scenes with Tony Stark, because Tony has so much respect for him, it was a... unique and beautiful sight to see our Stark in such manner.

  We all know how great RDJ is as Tony Stark, no need to remind you that. I will say though that he had an amazing, amazing moment that shows Iron Man is a real hero, despite many thinking he's, well.. a brat.
   Scarlet Johansson looks damn hot in her widow suit, and I adore her fighting, but at times I wasn't really fond of her acting and at times I loved her.
   Chris Evans, as always, did a beautiful job as Steve Rogers. I missed watching him as Captain America.. of all the Avengers, I always thought he's the true hero, because he's the self-sacrificing type, caring more about the others rather than himself. You'll see a lot of him with Tony *fangirl grin*.
    I admit, before seeing this movie, I couldn't really say I was a fan of Hawkeye. But I was sure proved to be wrong! He's an extremely interesting character that's definitely worth to be watched.
    Thor and Loki. Oh god, my Thor and Loki feelings...
.

    I just want them to make-out already, they're brothers! I'm sure that deep, deep, deep Loki's vengeful heart, he wishes to stick with his brother too. He just need a little push.... more than a little. Their scenes in this movie were bittersweet... so beautiful, and yet so painful. Though I hate seeing them apart, I do understand where Loki's hate is coming from. He feels like all his life was a lie and that he was being fooled by his father. He feels like all those years in Asgard, he's just been a shadow. Thor's shadow and that no one had taken him seriously. He's just a baby that needs a hug :(
